Pingback: Lauren Underwood, RN – Elected to U.S. Congress! – The Relentless School Nurse
This is fantastic on so many levels – a young, AA, female, Democrat and nurse gets elected to Congress and will be representing a mostly white rural/suburban area. We all need to be the nurse Lauren is and that is make no assumptions, knock on all doors, listen with empathy and act as if lives depend on it because they do and Lauren knows it. Go Lauren Underwood RN! I hope this is just the start of what is sure to be a brilliant political career.

Jane Flanagan echos the thoughts of many nurses. I saw Lauren Underwood, RN, on Rachel Maddow and other media presentations and was excited by her message. She is getting good coverage in the media and I imagine that will continue. Nursing will be well represented by Lauren.

Lauren is an inspiration. What a great representative of nursing.
More RNs need to run for public office.
